Building on this commitment, last year was marked by the launch of Basketball For Good activations at FIBA Events, reflecting FIBA’s vision to use basketball as a catalyst for positive change, and aligning with FIBA's Strategic Objective "Sustainability and Innovation" by elevating its social legacy.
2025 was a landmark year with the staging of eight FIBA continental competitions, providing a unique platform to strengthen basketball’s social impact. These activations demonstrated how basketball extends beyond the court, leaving a lasting legacy in every host country and strengthening the bond between the sport and society. Through collaboration with local partners and stakeholders, the FIBA Foundation continues to ensure that every event contributes to lasting social development and global unity.
