Launched in 2017, the FIBA Photo Contest is an annual initiative by the FIBA Foundation and is one of the Cultural Programs under its Cultural Heritage umbrella. The contest celebrates the intersection of basketball and culture, highlighting the sport’s global influence and its role in bringing communities together.

Open to all skill levels, the FIBA Photo Contest invites photographers and basketball enthusiasts from around the world to capture the essence of the game through powerful imagery. Participants are encouraged to be creative while promoting the values and cultural impact of basketball.

Each edition’s winner is invited to the FIBA Headquarters, the Patrick Baumann House of Basketball, and joins the FIBA Open, Switzerland's largest 3x3 basketball event. In addition to that, they receive photography equipment, worldwide recognition through FIBA’s platforms, and the privilege of featuring in the annual FIBA Photo Book.

FIBA PHOTO CONTEST 2025 - DREAM TEAM

    From September 22 to November 21, 2025

Basketball isn't just about the final score; it's about the moments in between.

The high-fives after a good play, the pep talks in the huddle, the shared laughs on the bench, the hand that pulls you up when you’re down, and the unbreakable bonds that form on and off the court.

The FIBA Photo Contest 2025 celebrates what makes a team more than just a group of players: it celebrates the Dream Team.

Whether it's your childhood crew at the local court, a tight-knit school team, or your weekend warriors who’ve become family, we want to see the heart that beats behind the hustle.

Capture the spirit of teamwork, the strength of friendship, and the warmth of a family that plays together.

Show us what your Dream Team looks like.
